The Howl Of The Moon - Darque is called to the Isle Of Man by the soon to be Earl of Ballig, Brendan Mylchreest. He is an educated man who has spent many years travelling, researching lost tribes and ancient cultures and has always dealt with the supernatural and superstition with a probing scientific mind. This makes for a volatile mix with Darque . There is a family curse, that on the first night in the manse, the new Earl will be visited by the dreaded Mauthe Doog. Depending upon the purity of his heart, he will remain safe or turn into a ravaging beast, a werewolf that will terrorise the local community. Mylchreest is intrigued by the belief in such myths, but Darque and Abbercrombie reckon that someone might be out to profit from such a curse. The new Earl maybe no werewolf, but someone amongst the assembled townsfolk and guests is. A succession of people are bitten, including Darque himself . The Man Who Was Murdered To Death - In the supernatural game, one is going to make enemies, even if, as in Darque's case, it is in the safety of the letters page of the magazine, Ghosthunters Gazetteer. He's been having a spat with the leader of the Church Of The Seven Saints, Gerson Kesner. But on the day when Darque throws down the gauntlet of a challenge, Kesner is found in a locked room, stabbed, strangled, shot, immolated, eviscerated, asphyxiated. All the evidence assembled by Inspector Trench of Scotland Yard points to Darque as being the killer. Thus, Darque, Abbercrombie and a particularly fine batch of Highland shortbread are forced to go on the run to prove their collective innocence. However, the police investigation seems to be continually aided by Kesner, from the other side. Thank heavens Darius Darque – Supernatural Detective doesn't know the meaning of the word fear. Kesner had disciples in many places and he might just have made some sort of bargain to ensure his welter of property and riches, disproving the adage, “you can't take it with you”. Has he traded with the Devil himself? Darque and Abbercrombie set out to ensure that any such deal is null and void. |

The Most Evil Doctor In The World – Ever –Even the great Darius Darque – Supernatural Detective requires a holiday every once in a while and what could be better than a motoring holiday in the Carpathian Mountains? An overnight stay in the tiny village of Tirlad leads to mystery and intrigue. The village appears gripped by fear, with the slightest event having ramifications resulting in people being, literally, scared to death. What forces are at play when a healthy, family man dies at the mere sight of a wooden spoon? The medical institute recently opened in the old castle on the hill would appear to be the obvious answer. Darque discovers his arch nemesis, Dr Andrzej Szamfeber is running a series of experiments investigating the very nature of fear itself. He has learned that even the most common place object can induce certain chemical releases within the body, quickening heart rate and clouding the mind.
